I am a freelance web coder/designer and graphic designer. I have achieved a certificate in the Rich Media Program and a diploma in the Multimedia Design and Production Technician Program at the Humber College Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning. I am an avid artist in both fine art and computer art. I took several art course and technological courses throughout high-school in her preparation for college.
In 2006, I worked as a web intern for Earth Day Canada where I built and updated web pages that change several times throughout the year. I also created many web graphics for those web pages, and updated graphics for the home pages according to the seasons.
I was also a qualified Cadet Master Warrant Officer. I was a part of the 2853 Simcoe Army Cadet Corp for 6 years until I had to move on to college. I achieved many awards while in Cadets, of those being an Order of Merit, the Best Gold Star Award, Best Senior and Junior Shots of my Corp and Second Best Senior Shot for Ontario. I also helped my rifle team in achieving first place for all of Southern Ontario in the Annual Air-Rifle Competition in 2004.
I am also an avid harness-horse person. I am a qualified Standardbred Trainer and I have worked with harness horses for 8 years up to date. I have also trained a small stable for one year as partner with the Green Star Stable. I am now geared more towards media but I still find time to help one of my previous employers race their horses at Woodbine Raceway.
